Because you live in an area where we spend so many hours heating vs cooling you should put a high priority on the type of heating system you choose. One of the lastest innovations in heating is the fully modulating gas furnaces. The York company has designed such a furnace and is currently the most efficient on the market. Other brands have tried to come up with the same technology but so far have fallen short. The York furnaces boast up to a 98% efficiency in a configuration that will fit in your basement, closet, utility room, garage, or attic space. We use the York products any many of our new installations but are not limited to only the York brand. We also have ties to the Amana product line that offers some high quality products with the best warranties in the market today. We also have the Trane products available that carry a strong name recognition in our market area.
There's More To Heating Than Gas Furnaces !
Some of our most efficient ways of heating today are using either Air-to-Air Heat Pumps or Geothermal Heat Pumps. Especially during the fall and early winter conditions these systems can not be matched with any type of fossil fuel system. Much of the time we will incorporate a heat pump with a gas furnace to get the best of two worlds. We simply allow the heat pump to run to heat your home to where it is no longer practical to run and then automaticly switch over to the furnace. This type of system is just like the hybrid car. We use electric until it is better or more necessary for the gas to take over. We use the York, Amana, and Trane products for these hybrids, and the Climate Master brand for our geothermal heat pumps. |
Brand Selection For New But Not Repair
Though we have a limited selection of brands we offer as new, it is not the case with our service department. We have available to us all the parts we need whether those be the Bryant/Carrier family, Rheem/Rude/Weatherking, or any number of other brands that you may have in your home. Although you may see many brand names there are only a few manufacturers. Manufacturers in an effort to capture more market share will use different names or sell their products to different companies to put their own name on. Big chain stores such Sears do not manufacture anything, yet you will find that they have their name on many products. If you've had problems with a Bryant furnace don't let someone sell you the Payne brand. It is exactly the same furnace.
All this to say we have part availability to almost any heating type system on the market today. If we can't secure a part it is usually because of the age of your system. If your system is to the point that parts for it are obsolete then you should probably be more concerned about brand selection than finding parts. I hope this page has been helpful.
